The perfluorinated proton exchange membrane is a solid polymer electrolyte used in rigorous conditions such as acid, alkali and oxidant. Because of its excellent performances, it is used not only in the key discreteness but in chlor-alkali, electrolysis, electrochemical synthesis and so on. The perfluorinated proton exchange membrane is also the key discreteness in the synthesis of DHB. This technique can not only increase the yield and decrease the cost, but also dose not produce waste residue and waste water. So, it is very important to study the application of perfluorinated proton exchange membrane in the synthesis of DHB.The application of perfluorosulfonated proton exchange membrane in the synthesis of 2,2'-Dichlorohydrazobenzene was also studied. These results indicate that using ionic exchange membrane was feasible. It showed that the optimum reaction temperature was 80%.When the electrolyte concentration was 30% at the anode and 10% at the cathode, current density of 4.2A/dm~2,the current efficiency reached 73% andyield was 83%.In this paper, the effects of electrode activation condition, electrode activation area, the electrical performance of membrane, the mix mode of material on the electrolytic reduction was discussed. In order to decrease the cost of membrane, it was studied about the technique of recasting the membrane using PFSR produced by dissolving discarded ion exchange membrane.
