The Study About Variable Pitch Control Methods In The Variable Pitch Wind Turbine System

This paper develops the model of the variable speed wind turbine system on the basis of analysing it's math model,designs the traditional PID controller,Fuzzy controller and Fuzzy Self-adjusting PID Controller for the part of pitch control in system,then simulates under different wind speeds.Fuzzy controller and Fuzzy Self-adjusting PID controller belong to intelligent controllers.The simulation demonstrates that although PID controller is simple and has better stablity,it requires precise parameters,however,the Fuzzy controller and the Fuzzy Self-adjusting PID controller have better stablity and dynamic characters than the PID controller.Particularly when the system is a complex nonlinear system or it's math medel is unknown.
