The matching of the fuel injection system and the combustion chamber is important to the combustion processes of the diesel engine. The fuel consumption rate and the emission rest with the matching condition of the two factors to a great extent. The small high-speed direct injection diesel engine has small cylinder, and works in high speed. So it must complete the blending of the fuel and the air in a short time in order to get good performance in the power quality,fuel economy,noise and emmission. It brings forward higher challenge to the matching.On the Visual C++6.0 platform ,we used ObjectARX-the AutoCAD runtime extension programming environment to develop AutoCAD applications. We have succeed in developing a set of software which can analyze the matching of the fuel injection system and the combustion chamber. It can caculate the spray characteristics according to the injection pressure and dynamicly display 3-D image of the spray in the combustion chamber. It can caculate the spray parameters such as the length of spray,the position of the point of fall.the distribution parameters of spray in the combustion chamber during the ignition period and the volume distribution of fuel spray in the combustion chamber.We analyzed the matching of the fuel injection system and the combustion chamber in CZ480Q DI diesel engine as a sample and put forward improving plan. The experiment has improved that the plan is feasible.In the software developing,we took each factors in the matching into account entirely. We advance evaluating parameters of the matching. It can analyze the effect of change of each parameter or parameters at all,and simulate the spray process with 3-D dynamic image in order to optimize the matching of the fuel injection system and the combustion chamber.
