As the promulgation of "The Renewable Energy Law" in China, Germany as well as some other countries, photovoltaic (PV for short) industry has developed with a very high speed. From the perspective of production capacity, solar cells and solar modules'equal growth rate has reached 43% in recent years. From the perspective of technique, PV has gone to the 3rd generation, including multi-junction monolithic (MJ for short) cells, hot-carrier solar cells, multi-bandgap solar cells etc. after the crystalline silicon solar cells in 1st generation and amorphous silicon thin films solar cells in 2nd generation. From the perspective of application areas, solar cells are applied extensively in industry, traffic, communication, spaceflight and military. Especially in spaceflight, solar cells are the main power of every kind of aircraft.MJ has been paid more attention for space technology applications because of the advantages of high photoelectric conversion efficiency, power-to-weight ratio, power area ratio etc. In the spectral response measurement of MJ, correlation detection theory and practical detecting device have come forth abroad. China has researched in single junction solar cell with some success, while no breakthrough in MJ, especially in the spectral response test of MJ. If relying on the import, we won't get enough technique and service support, which also restricts further theory exploration and experiment research. So the research of MJ solar cell in theory method and test device is an important subject with good innovation.This thesis chooses the thriple-junction solar cell GaInP/Ga(In)As/Ge as the research object, to conduct the theory and method exploration in the spectral response measurement of multi-junction monolithic solar cells. Monochromator's incentive light source, voltage biasing and light biasing are the main content.As the research results, this paper finishes the overall test system design. The main work includes raising new algorithm of the voltage biasing in the spectral response test of MJ, designing signal conditioning circuit, designing weak signal detection and data acquisition circuit, participateing in optical instruments'combination design, communication interface design, and data process work.In the end, test theory and key technology of the whole measurement system are completed on time, which lays the foundation for the final formation of one practical spectral response measurement system of multi-junction monolithic solar cell.
