| As one of FACTS, TCSC can flexibly and effectively adjust circuitry impedance. Thus, it has obvious effect on improving temporary stability, restraining power oscillation and sub synchronous resonance (SSR) of the system.This paper analyzes and sums up the characteristics of TCSC and points out its disadvantage. That is, its reliability is affected because thyristor of TCR is directly connected to main loop in series, which demands many thyristors connecting in series to counteract the high voltage. By analyzing demands on controllable reactor from TCT and a series of characteristics of TCT controlled by thyristor, this paper puts forward the method of using new TCT-based controllable series compensation to compensate disadvantage of TCSC.In this paper's content, mathematical model of TCT is deducted, simplified equivalent circuit is given and main loop of TCT-based controllable series compensation is constructed according to the ideal structure of TCT ideally addressed with excitation impedance. Besides, by deducting TCT-based controllable series compensation with topological method, this paper gives ways of choosing key parameter of the equipment and analyzes operational limitation under rating parameter.Equivalent impedance control of foundation frequency is the basic aim of TCT-based controllable series compensation control. Its response characteristic has a direct bearing on its function. This paper researches the influence of various synchronous signals on impedance control by building a detailed simulation model in Matlab/SPS. What's more, this paper designs a closed loop impedance controller of neuron self-adaptive PID and proves the effect of designed controller is apparently better than that of traditional PID.This paper researches the stability of one machine infinite bus with controllable series compensation, designs steady non-linear variable structure controller integrating the serious non-linear and variable running process of power system and complete self-adaptability of variable structure control against disturbance and parameter changes. In addition, this paper illustrates that the designed controller has excellent controlling ability and robustness. |
