As the urbanization develops, the burden of city flood control in ZhenJiang becomes more and more heavy. Considering the question of flood prevention of ZhenJiang in terms of the basin, this paper has established the model of flood prevention and calculation of city which applys to the complex of hydrology and hydrodynamic with many influencing factors such as gate, pump and kinds of water conservancy projects, based on property of hydrology of cities in tidal river areas and characteristic of water system of ZhenJiang city.First, the paper analyses the influence of urbanization on hydrology situations and flood prevention of city, summarizes the property of flood and water-logging, the reason of disaster generation, in the tidal river reach. It analyses the problems of city flood control and hydrological method in layout of city flood control in our country. Under analyzed problems of city flood prevention of ZhenJiang, and considering the difference of underlying surfaces, then, it is applied in different sub-regions corresponding methods of runoff generation and concentration computation.Hydrological method of runoff generation and concentration and hydrodynamic method of river network is combined together in the paper and used to set up mathematic models. And the model of runoff generation and concentration, and the model of hydraulic computing have been set up. Furthermore, the above models are used to analyze the water network designing level at different recurring periods and different gate, pump openings is simulated in the models. The result are used to help control flood of ZhenJiang city. The methods adopted in this paper can be used to solve problems in other cities similar to ZhenJiang.
