| In recent years,researchers use Li-ion batteries as power sources for underwater vehicles and electric vehicles,the mangement of Li-ion batteries becomes one of the key technologies for developing underwater vehicles and electric vehicles. The paper has deeply studied the Lithium battery management system, and the logical design thoughts and realized methods have been put forward.First the characteristic of the Li-ion batteries and the factors influenced on the state-of-charge(SOC)have been analyzed, and different kinds of SOC measuring methods have been compared. Then a logical SOC measuring method has been raised, which is the combination of open circuit voltage and Ah integration.Then a design of battery management system has been raised.The battery management system performs many functions, including inspectingthe whole process when it's running, cell equalization, protecting and diagnosing thebattery, estimating the state of charge .According to module design style,the battery management system includes MCU module,data sampling module,charging control module, equalization charging module,liquid crystal display and serial communication module.The Battery management system which this paper has introduced is reliable and economical.The estimation method of the SOC is authentic. |
