Zinc oxide varistor was used widely for a long time, because of its excellent electricity performance and low price. Rencently Kutty research group investigate ZnO doped with CaMnO3 varistor ceramic With the advantage of low varistor voltage, high non-linear coefficient. So ZnO doped with LaxCa1-xMn03 ceramic will be changed from single function to multifunctional composite device which is able to extend the range of application greatly. In this work we study influence of ZnO doped LaxCa(1-x)Mn03 on electrical and magnetic properties, prepare ZnO ceramic sheet with good properties of electrical and magnetic. In Chapter 3 we study influence of the sample electrical property by sintering process , and optimal sintering process. In Chapter 4 we investigate ZnO doped with LaxCa1-xMn03 in different ratios and its effect of properties of electrical and magnetic. Especially do more work on electromagnetic performance and its law of ZnO in low temperature, then obtain several interesting results. also analysis microstructure of the sample by SEM and XRD. In Chapter 5 we research 20mol%LaxCa1-xMn03/80mol%Zn0 effect of magnetoresistance .
