Application And Research Of Film Structure In Modern Echibiting Facilities Design

The film structure was born in 1950s. As the technology and material of film structure are becoming increasingly mature, the tensile film structure is generally accepted by more and more people for the past twenty years. The film structure, with its advantages of portability, flexibility, elegance and environment-friendliness, rise into favor with many designers and is now thriving all around the world.In this project, combining diachronic and empirical studies, we will make a intensive study of the application of film structure in the modern exhibiting facilities. Beginning from a historical perspective, we show the evolution of the film structure, from its infant stage to now. We also define the hint to and crucial influence of some architectural styles on the development of the film structure. The synchronism of the film structure is summarized, based on the detailed study of the structuralism and relevant philosophical aspects. The relevance of the film structure with structuralism and high technology is carefully arranged. From this, the guiding role of morphology and theories of cuticle structures for the design of exhibiting facilities is demonstrated. Great efforts are made to show the diversity of exhibiting facility design. Different film structures are categorized according to function, structure and material so that we can have an overview of the film structure. Finally, from the detailed analysis of the nodes and relevant structures of the film-structure-based exhibiting facilities, we come up with the design methodology and principle of the film structure for the optimum exhibiting space. In view of its positive influence on the urban development and people's daily life and its compatibility with the development of the cities, this design has great feasibility in the real life.
