In this thesis, the safety evaluation of the concrete cable-stayed bridge has been studied by uncertain AHP based on the existing evaluation methods. It includes such aspects as follows:Firstly, the development and existing problems of the assessment of bridges have been simply described, and some usual evaluation methods in current time are enumerated;Secondly, the basic principle of the uncertain AHP and the method of weights calculation are introduced. The hierarchy assessment model of cable-stayed bridge is established, questionary is designed and the weight of every index is determined by consulting several bridge experts.Thirdly, the method of how to determine the bottom index is introduced. The theory of Variable Weight Synthesizing and fuzzy inference are expounded.Finally, the total assessment program is carried out based on Visual C# and SQL database. Then Shaximiao Bridge is set to testify the correctness and practicability of the program as an example of one certain concrete cable-stayed bridge.The method presented in this thesis is feasible and proved reasonable through application to the real bridge.
