The rigid motion of flexible member may excite an elastic deformation with large amplitude of itself. These characteristics can be called the rigid-flexible coupling. Due to the development of high speed,light material and high precision structure, this dynamics attracts more and more attentions and becomes an urgent problem to be solved.For investigating the terms of the rigid-flexibly coupling problem, the dissertation studies a planar beam and analyses the results. The main contents of the paper are as follows: First, describe the motion of random particle in inertial frame, discretize the flexible beam by the method of shape function in sportive coordinate frame, form improved stiffness matrix and mass matrix by analyzing its kinetic energy and strain energy, so as to establish the motion equation. Second, use the Matlab to program to solve the nonlinear equation system by consulting Newmarkβdirect integral method and Newton-Raphson iterative method. End, the dissertation verifies the accuracy and validity of the method that expounded above though a material example. And by changing a few modifications of main parameters, it also be analyticed and compared with the calculation data. It will provide suggestions and references for a follow-up research.
