The reliability of power system has become more and more important as the rapid development of the society while ocean platform keeps growing rapidly as one of the most efficient ways to get energy from ocean. The probability of occurrence of single-phase grounded fault has increased due to its limited space of both platform and electrical facilities.Non-effective ground system represents most of the low-voltage power system and medium-voltage power system and resonant grounded power system shows its main development direction. Thus it reveals great prospective of studying single-phase grounded fault of resonant grounded power system. But inadequates of the methods often used in past which is based on steady zero-sequence data show up because of the grounded-coil of the neutral point, e.g., excessively small of effective value, liability to be interfered and both theoretical and practical defects while there still exists requirements on both theory and device of the lately-developed methods which is based on transient zero-sequence data. Thus it's introduced in article that a fault detection system based on transient zero-sequence data specificity component which utilizes DSP fast digital singal processing capacity and CAN control network to detect fault line in resonant grounded power system with single-phase grounded fault. The system uses TMS320F2812 DSP from TI as the main control device and CAN bus as control network system which can easily extends the network. After acquision, transient zero-sequence data is filtered to be specificity component which can be analyzed synthetically. The results will be sent to the host for storation and further analyzation. The system achieves the goal while monitoring the cost.
