This paper studies three line CCD satellites in orbit to the photographic process of drift angle and its compensation.The emergence of drift angle and its effects on three linear CCD camera are introduced.The factors which cause drift angle and the characteristics of drift angle are Analyzed. And then give the formula of drift angle. Through the satellite attitude adjustment for effective compensation of drift angle. On the basis of the satellite attitude adjustments, the image area is given within a certain period.The kinematics equation of the satellite was described in the form of quaternion. Two satellite attitude tracking controllers were designed. The first controller is the traditional controller variable structure on the foundation of adaptive and fuzzy link and the adaptive link can make an effective compensation to the disturbance torque during the operation of the satellite in orbit, but it can not remove the chattering problem. The fuzzy link is able to effectively curb the chattering. The second controller is being considered in satellite inertia uncertainty of the situation by adding a link compensation. Through the simulation can find that the satellite can eventually reach a steady state.Finally the attitude tracking control system was designed for drift angle compensation. By comparing found that the first controller achieve an larger effective imaging area than the second system. But the first control system needs bigger torque than the second system and it is difficult to achieve. Compared to the first control system, the second control system can achieve rapidly convergence speed an require little torque. It can meet the request of the compensation.
