With the worldwide pollution becoming more and more seriously, the water quality of drinking water sources have been polluted to certain degrees. Recent research shows that the byproducts of the chlorine disinfection which produced by the complex organic ingredients of the water sources are /become increasingly sophisticated. Most of these disinfection byproducts are lasting dissolved organic halides. For their teratogenicity, mutagenicity and carcinogenicity, people have paid widely attention to them. Because of the Wide-ranging molecular weight of these disinfection by-products, it is impossible to detect them using one method simultaneously. However, we can establish one common integrated indicators to evaluate the soluble organic halides in drinking water. It is therefore proposed that using soluble organic halides DOX to characterize the general disinfection by-product standard of drinking water after water disinfection. The composite indicator of using DOX to characterize the disinfection by-product has been one hot international research issue. Domestic research in this area is just in its infancy. In this paper, we firstly do some research on the methods for measuring DOX composite indicator. We optimize the measuring method on the basis of the standard one. Secondly, under the background that using HIT Dynamic Simulation Network as Research objectives, Combined with static bulk, static pipe wall experiments; we study the changing rules of DOX indicator in the water distribution network and analyze the influences of temperature, pH, ammonia, tubes and other factors. Thirdly, Doing some analysis on the correlation between trihalomethanes , haloacetic acids and DOX .Finally, establishing the laboratory quality model of DOX using mathematical method-SPPS.The research has laid the theoretical foundation for the establishment of DOX quality model in the actual water distribution network. This model can supply a more comprehensive evaluation of the by-product hazards in the water supply pipe network.
