The alloy electromagnetism refinement craft is an emerging liquid metal processing technology. As the electromagnetism refinement processing is in the experimental study stage, development of a specified pulse power source for this project has great significance.According to the design requirement, this thesis illustrates an output method, using the full-bridge DC/DC converter plus chop-wave circuit, and a power supply prototype is made. The full-bridge DC/DC converter realizes the function of leading arm's ZVS and lagging arm's ZCS, adopting the phase-shift PWM control style and using the transformer primary side's leakage inductor, blocking capacitor, IGBT's parasitic diode and lagging arm's serial diode. The sub-side's current double rectifier reduces the output current's ripple with two interleaved inductors. The chop-wave circuit has a simple structure and easy to control. According to the requirement of the high frequent and large current pulse output, multiple MOSFET parallel structure is a better solution than the large output current, single switch structure.Based on UC3879 and adopting voltage mode control, the phase-shift ZVZCS PWM full bridge converter's control circuit is designed. Based on IR2110 plus optical isolation of 6N136, the drive circuits of IGBT in full bridge converter and of MOSFET in chop-wave circuit are designed, which guarantee power switch working reliably and realize the electrical isolation between control circuit and power circuit.The circuit simulation is carried out in OrCAD/PSpice to ensure the correctness of the design, a low-power experimental power source is maked and experiment testing is progressed on the basis of the simulation. The simulation and experiment results show that the design realizes a good output. This scheme can provide some reference for the design of large power pulse source with low voltage and large current.
