Solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) is an all solid-state energy conversion device. SOFC was considered to be one of the most effective power system for its outstanding characteristics on the 21 century.The ideal performance of anode is the main purpose of this dissertation, on the basic of NiO-YSZ/YSZ composite ceramics fabrication technique and its application in anode/electrolyte system of planar anode-supported SOFC, the symmetrical uniaxially die-pressing method and tape-casting method are used to study the effect of grain size,distribution of the pores,the number of anode functional layer (AFL) and so on to the performance of the anode.Multilayer gradient anode was firstly introduced applied in anode supported unit cell. The three dimensional structure of anode functional layer (AFL) was optimized. Based on AFL structure optimization, anode substrate structure was optimized. The number of the AFL was two layers were confirmed after research, the ratio between the NiO and YSZ in AFL and the grain size were also confirmed: the ratio of the AFLⅡwas 70:30, the average grain size were 0.53μm, 1.42μm, separatly. the ratio of the AFLⅠwas 60:40, the average grain size were 0.53μm, 1.42μm, separatly. The 10 mass% starch is the optimize choice by studing the starch and PMMA, which have different containing, The porosity of the anode substrate is 37.96 vol%. The nano powder were used as the material of the AFL and the electrolyte. The maximum power density of the cell was improved from 448.95mW·cm-2 to 618.05mW·cm-2.The optimal composition were used on tape-casting, it was needed to change the ratio and the grain size in order to receive the ideal performance. The electrolyte was containing 80 mass% TOSOH YSZ which fired at 1200℃for 2h and the nano TOSOH YSZ which was not fired. The LSM as the cathode and the max power density was 638.37 mW·cm-2.
