This paper advances one new material anchor rod technology, namely"replacing traditional steel anchor rod with glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer", in order to solve the ground project's security problem better. the paper through experimental methods and the finite element numerical simulation's method to the anchor rod greatest carrying capacity and the contact surface shearing stress to the analysis, From the improved pull-out test of the experimental study, it simultaneously proposes one kind of numerical simulation's method of the mechanics of interfacial mechanics property between the anchor rod– adhesive– batholiths, numerical simulation and theoretical analysis of stress distribution characters on the interface and phenomenon of creep relaxation under long-term load were done by using finite element software ANSYS by changing glass fiber reinforced polymer anchor rod's creep coefficient and anchor rod diameter to observe creep relaxation influence of anchor rod, finally obtains the optimization design goal.The result from experiments:(1) We obtain the greatest carrying capacity of anchor rod through pull-out test, then obtaining average sheer stress of anchor rod's interface by theoretic calculating the result data of test. The peak value shearing stress calculation is using the method of Xu Jingmao, who put forward that the distribution of shearing stress approximate Gaussian normal curve and then get the biggest shearing stress by substitutioning it into the formula in the experimental research of bore wall in the interior bond section of prestressed anchorage cable. Through the comparison of experimental results, theoretical calculation results and numerical simulative results, the correctness of numerical simulation is confirmed.(2) The stress distribution regulation and the greatest carrying capacity of anchor rod is got from the numerical simulation of mechanics interface characteristic among the anchor rod, adhesive and batholiths. Then it can provide a reliable design proposal for the ground project on security problem.(3) There are lots of factors to affect the anchor rod creep relaxation. The paper makes numerical simulation to simulation creep and the stress relaxation of the anchor rod by mainly changing the glass fiber reinforced polymer anchor rod creep coefficient and the anchor rod shape size and then gets the effect of different factors to the anchor rod axial stress and the time.
