Preliminary Study On The Country Park Plan

The process of establishment of country parks in the metropolises of China is faster and faster. As part of the green infrastructure of city, not only country parks have the roles of protection of high-quality land and the protection of wildlife habitats and other natural areas that supports native species and contributes to clean air, clean water and, but also have the functions of recreation, offering a healthy, sustainable quality of living environment and controlling the irrational space expansion of metropolises.The origins of the Country Park are examined and the implications of those origins are analyzed. Paper defines the country park on the basis of the analysis of the country park the establishment and the development in China, and a summary of this period is also included. According to the temporary characters of the special green land, the dissertation recommends five types of the country park and the principles of country park planning.The fifth chapter of the dissertation mainly discusses the country park's planning and design from the point of site selection, spatial layout, regionalization, elevation planning, movement, planting, landscape architecture and facilitates, operation and maintenance, and so on.
