Voltage and reactive power control requires more advanced techniques along with the fast development of electric power needs.Enhancing the stability of the voltage in power system,avoiding voltage collapse were problems must be taken into account of the running of power system security.Multi-level voltage controlling was widely used in power system, and the secondary voltage controlling is the most important part in multi-level voltage controlling.It main work is in charge of parameters setting of the first voltage controllers in the controlling area by way of harmony.And this controlling method can get satisfactory result in the aspects of improving system voltage level and maintaining enough reactive deposit,so it is effective controlling method used in controlling voltage and controlling reactive power in power system.In this paper,the research actuality and the development trends of secondary voltage controlling were summarized.The basic concept,the basic mathematic model and the sensitivity computing of secondary voltage controlling were presented.According to the basic require of secondary voltage controlling,the optimal secondary voltage control system based on interior point algorithm was put forward,the optimal model of secondary voltage control system was built.The common target of the whole controlling system is to maintain the level of the voltage and maintain the level of the reactive power.In the controlling policy,control the areas by applying the online searching optimization to control it harmony.Compute object function by applying the interior point algorithm, obtain optimal result,and achieve optimal controlling.Aim at normal secondary voltage control which didn't consider interaction among neighboring control zones,secondary voltage control model considering interaction among neighboring control zones was built.The strategy kept the normal secondary voltage controlling,and joined reactive power of tie lines in control strategy.In the MATLAB set up the secondary voltage controlling model,and made use of the MATLAB language to implement optimal secondary voltage controlling. The simulation results as examples on the 10 generators and 39 nodes of New England System show that the secondary voltage controlling can resolve the problem for discrete harmony control effective,secondary voltage controlling can improve the level of the voltage and maintain the level of the reactive power.
