The ultrasonic flow-meter is extremely sensitive to the flow field condition, but the present research mainly concentrates with emphasis in how to enhances the measuring appliance performance using the modern examination technology with the proceed signal processing method. We must careful research on the flow field If we want to further enhance the measuring accuracy, then can fundamentally solve the problem, moreover to fully improvement the performance potential. This article conducts the research in view of the the theory measuring in flow field condition, provides the theory and the instruction of the performance improvement for ultrasonic flow-meter, and then provide the suitable angle and the way for ultrasonic flow-meter in theoretically.This article embarks from the principle of the time method of difference gas ultrasonic flow-meter measurement, emphatically on the installs effect obtaining from the flow field factor and the acoustic path arrangement installs, research the measuring accuracy on the different acoustic path arrangement and the way of installs of the gas ultrasonic flow-meter in the different flow field, thus carries on the optimization to the way of the acoustic path arrangement.According to the velocity distribution of the flow field, obtains the error formula of single acoustic path arrangement and the error weight coefficient through the inferential reasoning, thus obtains the error formula of multi-path, and through the analysis of the erroneous - angle relations that the direct injection type and the refraction type of single acoustic path arrangement way as well as the diagonal type and parallel type of the multi-path one in the single and double curving pipe's flow field, to analysis and research what the error affects of the ultrasonic flow-meter measurement to carry on the detailed .The result indicated that in the curving pipe's flow field, the way of the multi-path arrangement is better than the single one in the precision, moreover, because of the flow field particularity as well as complementarity of the diagonal type, the diagonal type layout has the best performance regardless of that in the single curving pipe's flow field or the double one. When uses the way of some kind of fixed installs, it would be possible in the greatest to reduce the error that produces from the perturbation of flow field through the adjustment the angle.
