With the increase of population and development of industrialization, landfill becomes a safe economic,effective and final way to deal with the MSW. The slope stability of MSW is an important problem about economic and safety. So it has an important significance to make further research in landfill's stabilityThrough reading a lot of references, this paper studies the research evolvement of domain correlative with this subject. According slope stability analysis method, FEM strength reduction method (SRM)'s applicability is analyzed and compares its software platform. Plaxis(Rock engineering numerical analysis software) is chosen to research its sensitivity and the factors which influence MSW landfill's stability. It will Analyze and forecast the MSW Landfill's slope stability to constructing landfill and constructed landfill. It is apposed to give guiding advices to MSW landfill's design and construction, and offer research implement and gist to the edit of correlative norms. The achievements acquired in this article are as follows:1.Though the analysis on the displacement and stress of District landfill method , Conclusions are as follows:(1) Slope horizontal displacement are more concentrated in sections of the left slope near the landfill and with the increase in height increases;The maximum of vertical displacement arises at the upside of the slope.The maximum of level displacement in slope is -6.0m; the maximum of vertical displacement is -22.752m;(2)The effective stress in X direction and Y direction both gradually augment with the increase of MSW's height;The maximum of shear stress distribution fastens on slope's bottom and apex angle's lower area.2,Though the analyze about the stability of MSW Landfill's slope in tIn the process of Distriction, Diversification charts about the most dangerous glide surface and plastic zone which changed with the development of height are achieved , theoretically demonstrated the relevant conclusions of the landfill: with the increase of Landfill'height, the safety factor gradually decreases, the stability gradually lower, slip plane gradually increase. 3,Make a sensitive analysis to the factors which influence MSW Landfill's stability and draw the conclusions as follows:1) When MSW's physical-mechanical parameters reduce, the slope stability is sensitive. When the other parameters are invariable, the Safety factor will increases with the increase of cooperation force and friction angle and the decrease of MSW's volume gravity.2) When calculate the stability of the slope to different height of landfill, the curve of Safety factors vs. height of landfill can say the slope's Safety factors quickly reduces in the earlier construction. When the elevation of the landfill less than 80m, the safety factor is greater than 2.When the landfill's elevation greater than 80m, the safety factor reduces slowly. The slope stability will reduce with the increase of land fill's elevation.Though theoretical estimation and digital Computation, the influence to stability by sedimentation be analysis. The result indicates: the value of compression is maximal at the bottom of the landfill, it can be 47.6%; the value of compression is minimal at top layer, it is only 8%. When the sedimentation finished, the slope stability will be increased by 15.7%.
