In this paper,aluminum hydroxide,zinc borate and antimony trioxide as flame retardants,attapulgite clay as dispersant,nano calcium carbonate as filling modifier, prepared composite materials of flame-retardant nano-building structural adhesive. And tests the flame-retardant properties of composite materials by combustion,at the same time made a comprehensive evaluation with mechanical properties.Further studied structure and properties of composite materials by FTIR,thermal analysis, SEM.This paper is divided into four of the experiment.1.In this paper,the attapulgite is treated with small molecule silane coupling agent via ultrasonic vibration.Make certain the best experimental conditions of attapulgite modification by orthogonal experiment with criterion of activation exponential and rotary viscosity.Transform FTIR and SEM analysis indicated that the coupling agent had been grafted to the surface of the attapulgite.2.Prepared composite materials of flame-retardant building structural adhesive with aluminum hydroxide as flame retardants,zinc borate as smoke suppressant, antimony trioxide as synergist,silane coupling agent as surface modifiers.Make certain the best ratio of building structural adhesive's flame retardant components by orthogonal experiment with flame retarding properties and mechanical properties.It indicated that every flame rctardant components had been broken down into corresponding oxides before and after burning.DTA-TGA indicated that composite materials absorbed a great deal of heat of combustion during burning,So reduces the combustion temperature of materials in the burning,effectively improve the performance of the flame-retardant materials;At the same time,TGA has also greatly reduced.SEM indicated improve of the mechanical properties for composite materials because of the surface modification of flame-retardant components and building structural adhesive have better compatibility.3.prepared composite materials of flame-retardant building structural adhesive with nano calcium carbonate as a filling agent,KH570 as surface modifiers. Mechanical properties test indicated that reach maximum mechanical properties when nano calcium carbonate content is 5%.Transform FTIR analysis indicated that nano calcium carbonate had been coated with KH570 successful.DTA—TGA indicated that flame retarding properties of composite materials increase at a certain extent,but the extent of the increase is lower.SEM indicated that nano calcium carbonate has the better dispersion effect in building structural adhesive,show that ultrasound can effectively reduce the reunion of inorganic nanoparticles,improve the uniformity and dispersion of composite materials,thereby improving the performance of materials.4.Prepare nano-structures flame-retardant plastic composite material based on the above experimental draw a conclusion of the optimal conditions,Transform FTIR,DTA-TGA and SEM analysis indicated that all kinds of properties of composite materials have different levels of increase.
