As the problem of resource and environment increasingly become bad in recent years, using the resource reasonably. protecting environment and reducing the consumption of typical energy have become a very important problem that our HVAC designer must to face. Ground source heat pump as a new type of air-condition which using a renewable resource ,saving energy ,have high efficiency ,have no polluter and also can heat or cool for buildings. It has used widely in foreign country, but in our country this technology has seldom been adopted so far. Many a work of research on GSHP and popularizing application need to be done. Vertical U-Tube ground-coupled heat pumps have become increasingly popular because of many outstanding advantage it has, such as:fewer area requirement, fewer limits, running steadily, better performance, lower costs on system maintenance. In this article, it presented a office building as a example, using the EnergyPlus simulation tool ,calculated the heating loads and the cooling loads for the ground loop heat exchanger design. After this ,using the ground loop heat exchanger program (GS2000) designed the GLHE for the whole building, and change different design parameter to analyze. It considered changing different length of the GLHE and flow rate of fluid in pipe in this article to simulate the whole GSHP system. In the fifth chapter,it analyzed the impact on heating transfer performance of GLHE and system performance according to the outlet and inlet temperature of GLHE. It provided some useful reference for optimize the design parameter. In the last ,using the optimization parameter simulated GSHP system in a year and calculated the outlet temperature of GLHE. According to the result,it advised that using the hybrid ground source heat pump is more reasonable in cooling-dominated buildings.
