Recently,the super highway in mountain area were rapidly developed. It is certain that large number of slopes will be encountered when the construction work is in process. Excavation and embankment in road building have large effect on the slope stability, especially in transmutation and ancient landslide area where landslide sliding causes roadbed transmutation and destruction as well. The research about the effect between landslide and roadbed includes 3 aspects, 1. Analyzing the relationship between the transformation which is a form of lack of stability of landslide and the construction of roadbed , where accumulating soil and rock always happen , 2.Studying the mechanism of road destruction which situated on landslide, 3.Making a helpful treatment for landslide protecting which in term of theory and engineering the research value is significative.The paper takes Zhenzilin landslide as the investigated subject. The author used FEM strength reduction method and the software,ADINA (Automatic Dynamic Incremental Nonlinear Analysis) which is convenient for simulating the condition of the landslide, and limit equilibrium methods , monitoring information such as the transmutation and displacement characters of landslide for studying the effect between landslide and roadbed.①The paper introduced the slope stability analysis methods which are often used, and the criterion of a slope stability in FEM strength reduction technique was also discussed in detail. Two criterions were universally accepted. Criterions 1: The curve which express the relationship of a certain node displacement and reduction coefficient. Criterions 2: The connectivity of plastic flag. Criterions 1 should be used for calculating safety factor and criterions 2 for hunting slide surface.②Geological condition of Zhenzilin landslide was introduced .the distribution of plastic flag and displacement were simulated in finite element analysis method. The conclusion is that Zhenzilin landslide is stabile enough except for partly slippage.③The stability of Zhenzilin landslide reduced because of the construction of roadbed, soil and rock accumulated. The mutative displacement characters have been gotten through analyzing the monitoring information. The result indicates that there are two major reasons for land sliding : firstly, it is also the primary reason, the construction of roadbed where soil and rock accumulated, secondly rainwater and sewage aggravate the transmutation of the slope.④The movement of landslide led to the transmutation and destruction of the road. It is shown that distribution of plastic flag and displacement in roadbed through numerical simulating. The result concluded that the transmutation of the landslide was an important reason for the roadbed destruction.⑤Several landslide treatment plans, such as cleaning away the soil load, setting anti-slide piles, grouting were studied, and an optimized locations of the anti-slide piles were also confirmed. Advisable suggestions about landslide protecting were proposed.
