One of the key techniques of spacecraft is to determine orbit, it is also the preconditions of control and guidance. Along with the increase in the number of spacecrafts and the constraint of geographical conditions, using of ground stations to determine orbit has many defects. Independent autonomous navigation becomes the direction of development. In order to meet navigation accuracy and reliability of near-earth satellite, this paper analysied sensors which possibly were installed in the satellite. It did resrarch for navigation programmes.Based on that, it studied the key technology in autonomous navigation. It applied multi-sensor information fusion theory to integrate sensor information. It put forward autonomous navigation method using pseudo-range and attitude sensor in order to improve accuracy and reliability. It studied orbit dynamics model. The equation of orbit dynamics model was an important factor to implement autonomous navigation. In this paper, in inertial coordinate, it analysed some perturbation factors impact on orbit, such as the shape of Earth, Sun and gravitational, sunlight pressure, atmospheric drag. Based on that, it established orbit dynamics model.Combining orbit dynamics, it considered adopting Pseudo-range to implement autonomous navigation. It analysed the visibility, established the observation model and analysed the error model of GPS. It designed kalman filter to implement mathematical simulation. It also considered adopting attitude sensor for autonomous navigation satellite when GPS can not be used. It studied the basic principle of autonomous navigation using star sensor/infrared horizon sensor and ultraviolet sensor. It researched the observation model, established the models used for autonomous navigation. It also studied and discussed the navigation accuracy through a mathematical simulation. At last, it put forward an integrated navigation system of GPS, star sensor, infrared horizon sensor and ultraviolet sensor using multi-sensor information fusion theory. Through analyzing the corresponding performance, it can greatly enhance accuracy.
