Power system load forecasting and load characteristic analysis are very important jobs for the management part of power system . The level of load forecasting is directly related to the economic and social benefits for power system operation. With the improvement of living standards of urban residents, a lot of air-conditioning and heating appliances go into the family , cooling load is impacted by many random factors, in particularly the climatic factors. Come up with the sensitivity of major factors is critical for improving the accuracy of load forecasting. The study of load characteristic has acquired some applied effect in recent years. But there are only the relations between load and the max or minimum temperature in most of study of load characteristic. The shortcomings of this study is , it can not reflect all the meteorological information, it may lead errors for analysis. This paper carried out in-depth analysis of the affect of weather factors for power grid .introduces the study on this status at home and abroad.. Based on the electric load data and meteorological element observations for Hangzhou during the period of 1 January 2006-10 September 2007,the loads models was established by use of scatter diagram and regression theory between summer weather sensitive loads and weather factors, including temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, radiation and velocity of wind. The obtained features and regular patterns on the influences of weather factors on load could offer useful reference information for the personnel in power supply and dispatching departments. Complete the select similar days method for short-term load forecasting based on fuzzy classification . A fuzzy stepped match is supported. Prepared a similar finding on the procedures.
