Because of the large mountain areas in our contry, slope protection, afforestation, soil and water conservation, landscape and other issues will become increasingly important with the construction of highways, railways, hydropower, municipal and other basic construction. At present, there are two measures to protect slope which are masonry protection and plant protection. Masonry protective structural is stability and quick,but it has poor ecological environment benefit and the restricted of service life .The plant protection has good environment benefits,however,the rock slope is generally higher and it also has poor basic condition of food and wator for plants,in natural circumstance,it is very difficult to survive for plants and there is not protection effect in seedling stage. In addition, there is not an ideal method for rock slope protection. Spray anchor protection has quick results,but because of the poor benefit of environment ,ecology and landscape and the restricted of service life,in recent year, it has been used less and less. General external-soil spray seeding applies only to the rock slope with slow slope and low height because of poor stability, unstable combination and the phenomenon of collapse.This paper describes the plant concrete technology which is an ideal method because it has the protection effect of spray anchor protection and it also can enable plant grow,this method plays a role of restoring the ecological environment and creating landscape.Plant concrete can resolve the issue of rock slope protection and greening at the same time once and for all, it combines the engineering protection and biological protection together, it can protect slope, restore ecology, reconstruct landscape quickly, stably, economically and aestheticly, a new technology of slope protection and greening is formed.This technology is applicable to the rock slope, soil-rock slope, soil slope with hard soil and the artificical green of concrete suface.This paper studies the sprayed concrete bonding material,structure design of plant sprayed concrete and application of construction technology of plant sprayed concrete, at the same time ,the choice of plant concrete and the maintenance managenmet method of plant concrete are introduced ,finally ,this paper analyzes the economic effects and prospect of plant concrete technology.
