As general mechanical equipment, pump has a long history of development. But metering pumps as a branch of the reciprocating pump, to date, only 70 years of development history. And the development of domestic was even shorter.Development of metering pumps is not only in the structure of its continuous improvement, In order to ensure a variety of fluid materials on various occasions under the applicable. More importantly is the development of the way in controlling. It demands precise measurement, at the same time, anti-disturbance and adaptive capacity are also required. In this paper, the metering pump frequency digital control system based on fuzzy algorithm is brought up.In the design of hardware, we adopt the Microchip 16bit embedded microcontroller dsPIC30F6010 with DSP core, dedicated in motor control. This part introduces the details of the selection of the CPU, The overall control system hardware circuit diagram and the design of each module in detail. To guarantee the reliability of the system, this work designed an architecture consisting of main board and driving board according to design ideas of heavy currency and weakness should be isolated.In the software part. First, we introduce the realization of Field orientated control on dsPIC30F6010A.and then we link the metering pumps to Industrial PC through CAN bus, in order to achieve Long-range communications and control. Next we take the precision of controlling the pump into account. According to the location signal by sampling, system combine fuzzy algorithm in the closed-loop speed control in order to increasing corresponding speed. Then we combine the controller to the Mechanical parts of the metering pump and test the whole system. The result shows the design of the controller have achieved its control effect and runs well.
