The supersonic cruise missile was the key research of the missile in recent years. US and RUSSIA make their most efforts to improve their technical in the field of supersonic cruise missile, and some supersonic missile have equipped the army. Compared to the subsonic missile, the supersonic cruise missile fight altitude changes large, and the external interference is big, these characteristics put forward challenges to research of the missile body characteristics.The complex of working environment make the parameter perturbation and external interference bigger; the large range change of the flight altitude and time varying aerodynamic parameter make the nonlinear to the missile; the conversions in the multi-dimensional motion equations and the multi-coordinates make the multi-term cross coupling to the missile. The traditional processing method of this nonlinear missile control system is: first neglected the coupling factors, decoupling the coupling channel artificially; then used the analysis and design method of classical control theory to design the control system of each channel, and preserve certain stable margin. At last, introduced the neglected coupling relationship, then verified it by simulation.This method suitable for the situation that the missile flight steadily and variation range of the attitude angle and attitude angular velocity is not large. For the maneuvering fight or the roll fight, the coupling influence increased, this method is not rigorous. But the control system have the certain stable margin, if the coupling influence is not serious, the traditional method could meet the qualification of the system. In this case, when we can use the traditional method for the coupling influence is a problem that we must solve.The analysis of the projectile body dynamic characteristic of the cruise missile is a important job in the missile design, if we have completed a series of job like that the aerodynamic configuration,the selection of fight program,the design of the ideal trajectory,the arrangement of the position,the analysis and design of the mass center,the quality and the moment of inertia, we should make a evaluation to the scheme of the missile's dynamic characteristic, then point out the improving direction. Through this, we provide important basis for the overall design of the missile and the design of the control system.After the study of the missile's dynamic characteristic, we analysis the coupling of the supersonic cruise missile, the coupling include the side channel coupling and the coupling between the side channel and longitudinal channel. We analyzed the coupling by the theory of diagonal dominant matrix, then the Gershgorin zone of the transfer function was given. At last, the coupling's influence to the missile's projectile body dynamic characteristic was explained by MATLAB, then we give the simplified model of the supersonic cruise missile.
