The reinforced concrete has been impelling the architecture industry swift developing since it appeared, it is one kind of indestructible structural style in most peoples'mind, but the result actually by no means like their Imagination because of the outside corrosive environment influence. With the increasing of existing reinforced concrete structures' service life, the aging problem of structures is more and more prominent. Concrete durability is a grave question. Rebar corrosion in concrete is a mass instance, and the chloride is the main factor causing corrosion.Under considering the randomness of chloride ion diffusion coefficient, this article has derived a concrete surface chloride ion density probabilistic model in marine environment, which is based on the Fick's Second Law. Through two examples, we can prove its feasibility. The research of the chloride ion density as a theory basis is used to forecast the concrete structure durable life.Definition of the end of the durability life of concrete structures is dependent on the type and function of the structures. In this article, it takes the corrosion crack opening be equal to 1mm as a hazard point, named the durable structure life terminated flag. The methodology for durability assessment concrete structures in chloride environment is presented. A stochastic model of the chloride ion concentration in the concrete cover is established by treating the chloride ion concentration at the concrete surface and the thickness of the concrete cover as random variables, and the chloride diffusion coefficient as a stochastic process. The mean value of the chloride ion concentration in the concrete cover is derived. The model can be employed to determine the time when corrosion initiates. Finally, we can prove its reliability and the rationality through a project example as well as with other model's contrastive analyses.According to research and discuss in this paper, a brand-new way for the tools and methods of the reinforced concrete structure durable research is opened. By organizing intersectional research of multi-science, it is a possible approach that the durability of reinforced concrete structure should be research by combing scientific theory with empirical knowledge, qualitative with quantitative studies through using modern uncertainty mathematics, and establishing mathematic model with modern computer technology; Compared with traditional method used in this field, it is good method for getting accurate and useful result.
