Development For Inquiry System Of Vehicle Parameters Based On Traffic Accident Treatment

In recent years, although the number of traffic accidents and deaths has shown a downward trend, in fact the total number of traffic accidents are huge in China. Safety management departments have to spend considerable effort to deal with and analysis of traffic accidents, and to get the structure parameters and performance parameters of accidents vehicles occupation of a big part of traffic accident scene investigation time. With the development of vehicles technology and meeting the needs of different users, automotive productions are varityping and the structure is constantly changing. That made it more difficult for safety management departments to analysis the traffic accidents. If a traffic accidents'manager don't know the models of vehicles very well, he often has a low efficiency. At present, the ways to get the vehicles'structure parameters of traffic accidents in China are that depending on the experience of managers or inspecting vehicle manuals. It not only wastes a lot of time and energy, but also sometimes lacks of accuracy. Based on the application of computer technology ,this dissertation carried out in-depth study on rapid collection and enquiry of the parameters of the accident vehicles, and application (such as storage, query, management) of computer technology in vehicle parameters of traffic accidents.The article relies on"traffic accident analysis and reappearance system"independently developed by the Transportation safety topic set of Chang An University and identifies the parameters which needed in accidents analysis and processing. In order to meet the needs of the most traffic accidents'analysts, using Microsoft Access 2003, the article establishes the "vehicle database" and discussed the scope and focus of "vehicle database"."Vehicle Parameter Enquiry System" has been developed based on the "Vehicle Database". "Vehicle Parameter Enquiry System" developed on the platform of Visual C + +6.0.It covered a wide range of vehicle information and had simple and rapid operation methods. The system provides six different kinds of query methods, in order to meet the needs and query habits of different users. It can not only significantly reduce the time in acquisition of vehicles'parameters of structure and performance and improve the efficiency of traffic analysis, but also provide a comprehensive and reliable data support to traffic accidents analysis.On the basis of the operation on single computer database, the article created a Network Database by using SQL Server and discussed the feasibility and limitation of resource-sharing. It got a vehicles resource-sharing system formed by a Client-LAN-Server link.
