Beijing metro line 4 under construction will pass through under the Science Experiment Site of Beijing University, where installed many sensitive equipments. The vibrations induced by metro trains may affect the work environment of these equipments, so special measures should be adopted to mitigate the vibration. Base on the mitigation measures research, the parameters' impacts on the dynamic characteristics and mitigation effectiveness of the SSFST (steel spring floating slab track) are studied in this paper. The prototype test of the SSFST is carried out in the UTEL (Underground Track Engineering Laboratory) . The test result indicates that the natural frequency of the SSFST under different parameters is in the range of 6~7Hz. In this paper, the vibration propagation rule in the tunnel and on the ground surface is analyzed, and the mitigation effectiveness of the SSFST is estimated. Finally, a series of vibration transfer coefficient function through the soil is obtained. The conclusions may supply a reference of ground-surface vibration forecast due to new metro lines.
