With the development of power market and new demand of custom, it is becoming a new and more concerned subject to build a good corporation management information platform to achieve informational and refined management and service that custom demands.ZigBee, as a new technology of wireless communication, which is simple of protocol, low cost, low power and easy of building network, has widen market in intelligent home machine, building automation and industry monitoring and controlling area.In this article, it is introduced that using ZigBee to build wireless data transmission platform of consumer ammeter in corporation power information management system, in order to realize the sampling and monitoring ammeter of substation and consumer. Use TSZ-CC2430, a copy of CC2430 of TI, to build radial and tree network.CC2430, system on chip, which is designed for embed ZigBee, is chosen to apply in the design of wireless data transmission platform. CC2430 meets demand of low cost and power for 2.4G Hz ISM based on ZigBee. Its functional module integrates DSSS radio-wave transceiver core CC2420 and enhanced industrial standard 8051 core.Net layer and applying layer of ZigBee protocol is improved by using PHY and MAC layer of transplanting simplified ZigBee protocol stack of Mississippi College. The advantage of simplified protocol is that it is design for students'learn and research. Its function is easy to learn, which has good expansion. The protocol support CC2430. CC2430, designed according to Microchip ZigBee protocol stack, is of high reliable.
