The high-speed development of automobile technology makes the speed of automobile faster and faster .The frequency of car meeting at night at high speed is higher. The inappropriate of the shine direction of automobile headlamp is the main hidden dangers for driving at night.There are many problems in headlamp testing now, the rate of eligibility is very low ,so people have thrown doubt upon validity of headlamp test. Some districts even give up the distinguish of headlamp beam direction, just demand the eligibility of luminescence intensity. This leads to the headlamp testing exist in name only and automobile have serious safety hidden trouble.This paper is just based on above background, analyses the problems in headlamp testing, studies all the correction method of parking error in Automobile headlamp testing , then brings forward to using laser range technology to do the work and exploits the correction system.This paper expatiates the principle, composition, testing process, software and hardware design of correction system, then through testing the actual automobile, we testify the system has high stability and feasibility.The main research contents of this subject are:Expatiate the basic condition of Automobile headlamp testing. First, introduce some kinds of auto headlamp tester in common use at present, and their principles and compositions. Next analyse the problems in headlamp testing:the environment of detection line,headlamp tester,Automobile,driver and so on, then put forward some means to solve them. Finally, discuss the necessity and feasibility of correction system.Introduce the correction problem of parking error in Automobile headlamp testing systemicly.First, introduce the correction method of parking error at present, emphasize the principle ,composition, testing process of auto put straight device, offset angle test of the Automobile parking based on Image processing and parking distance correction, then discuss the advantages and disadvantages of all methods. Next, Introduce the details of correction system used in this paper. Finally, expatiate the testing process of correction system, bring forward the notes to insure the operator'safety.Hardware design of system.First introduce the comprise of hardware system:rear axle location system and laser range system. Next, recommend the function, methods and the main equipments of the hardware system. Finally, illuminate the model and install demanding of laser range finder. Developed an auxiliary test device,the device can measure the front-end side of headlamp and body position and direction, It can satisfy the flat and non-flat cars Then it composed a test system with Laser rangefinders to test the deflexion-angle of Automobile, offset angle of Automobile and parking distance , then amend the test result.Software design of system.According to the working course and the method of modularization to design software system, to carry out control/data,collection/data,processing/data,conserve/result display etc .then mainly introduce the comprise and function of every module, accomplish the interface design of software system.Identification of system and real vehicle measuringThrough the identification of system., then use real vehicle measuring , educe the testing gist through plenty of experiments and analyses ,testify the system having high dependability and reliability. At the same time aiming at the appearance of errors, deal with and estimate the relate data, then analyze its cause and influence ,to bring forward the approach to minish the error.This correction system mainly has following features:1,Testing method is more practicalThis paper puts deflexion Angles of Automobile into the correction system ,the establish of testing model and the design of testing system have changed the traditional correction method, and to be more practical. 2,The measure method is creativeIt is a new try to use laser range technology for offset angle of the Automobile location testing, and obtain the anticipant result, It has established a good base for other testing item to use the laser range method and has a very important meaning.3,Developed an auxiliary test deviceThe device can measure the front-end side of headlamp and body position and direction, It can satisfy the flat and non-flat cars Then it composed a test system with Laser rangefinders to test the deflexion-angle of Automobile, offset angle of Automobile and parking distance , then amend the test result.
