| Whereas there are many advantages including excellent figuration and applicability for multiple topography conditions, five-span continuous girder arch bridges constructed with steel-tube concrete are being applied more and more extensively. Furthermore, because visibility over bridge can be increased without transverse linker being set between main arches, it can be believed that in the future five-span continuous girder arch bridges constructed with steel-tube concrete without transverse linker being set between main arches shall be much more applied in construction mid-span tube-steel concrete arch bridges.Based on Hanjiang Northern Bridge construction engineering, and combined with engineering practice, key technologies of five-span continuous girder arch bridges constructed with steel-tube concrete without transverse linker are studied in the paper.By these researches, the bridge has been constructed with safety and satisfaction, and the research findings in the paper can be perfectly consulted for similar bridges'construction.The main research contents in the paper are as the following:(1) Research on design and construction technology of buckling method;(2) Research on preparation technology of long-span steel structure;(3) Research on resistance against typhoon and control measures during installing long-span steel-tube.Key measures and system of quality control are given for construction of long-span steel-tube concrete arch bridge without transverse linker in typhoon area, which have been successfully executed in Hanjiang Northern Bridge. The practices indicate that the research findings are effective and feasible, and great economic profit and social benefit have been achieved. |
