It's an efficient way to use for reference,assimilate,absorb the foreign advanced manufacture technology, and enforce the capacity of the independent development and technology innovation in the diesel engine enterprises of China by using VP technology to develop the diesel products. During the design phase, the kinematics dynamics, strength, stiffness and vibration characteristic are simulated in the virtual environment. The capability matching and general optimization are realized. Therefore, the researches on the VP technology of engine have an important theory significance and practical merit in shortening the development period of products, reducing the cost, improving the design quality, boost the market competing capacity.Taking 240 diesel as an example, carried out the virtual prototype of dynamic of the 16/8V diesel engine, analysis the vibration of cylinder block caused by inertia force of the mechanism,the balance problem of inertia force,journal dynamic performances and so on.Without thinking air-pressure force, friction resistance and load acting on the crank, the thesis mainly studies the influences to the performances of the parts of the engine key parameter, for instance, the influences to the dynamic performances of diesel engine with the changes of V angle and fire order, influences on the crank output torque,balance performance and journal performance; The changes of output torque and balance performances under differentλnumber; the change direction of the piston pin force and output torque under different piston masses; and how about the changes of the journal performances with the changes of the journal parameter, such as the temperature of the oil,journal clearance; With the analysis above, we can get a better parameter matching, and finish the ultimate purpose of building a virtual prototype of a diesel engine.The result shows that the VP model is right and useable and provided the reliable proof for the engine design and improvement.
