With the development of modern engineering technique, people pay more attention on how handling vibration and noise, thus contribute to the maturing of the structure modal analysis technique .Regarding to the wide application for the development of domestic modal analysis theory on the military field (aviation, spaceflight etc.), the current developing trend is turning to the civil field (automobile, electronic etc.). This article proposes the new theory of Discrete Orthogonal Polynomial, simultaneously. This arithmetic can avoid the calculating residue problem induced by negative frequency, also resolve the coupling from equation and decrease half the calculation of orthogonal polynomial fitting frequency- responding functions.Visual C++ 6.0 can provide plenty of powerful guide tools, like MFC class library, App Wizard and Class Wizard, and the Visual Studio development tool can make developing program more convenient when using Visual C++ 6.0. The Matlab has its advantage on matrix operation, graphic handling and symbol calculation. Here author discusses to use Visual C++ 6.0 and Matlab to mix programming and realize the algorithm. And use it to process the experimental data.Contents:Chapter 1: briefly introduce the current development status and research purpose of modal analysis, and this dissertation theory and realizing method.Chapter 2: introduce modal analysis basic theory, which includes single degree of freedom, multi-degree of freedom and some important concepts.Chapter 3: introduce modal test system and the relevant equipments in this system which including the incentive equipment, sensor and frequency responding function analyzerChapter 4: introduce the modal parameters identification method. firstly bring forward some important concepts in the field of modal parameters identification, then the identification methods in conventional time field and frequency field, and finally the theory of discrete orthogonal polynomial whose validity is proved by Matlab emulator. Chapter 5: introduce the modal analysis software design and realization. Firstly the specialty and advantage of mix programming of Visual C++ and Matlab 6.5, and then the introduction of the software flow chart. Regarding to the flow chart, detailed introduction of each module arithmetic theory and the interface arithmetic theory of VC and Matlab. Comparison and summary the data result processed by this software and ME'scope.Chapter 6: summary this dissertation achievement and the prospect of further investigation in this field.
