RC one-way slab is most widely used at present. It has great effect on the safety and economy of building. In practical project, some RC slab was not designed well, some RC slab was not constructed well, some RC slab has to take on more load because its function changes, some RC slab has to strengthen for some reason such as damage. Many advantages such as lightweight, high tensile strength, non-corrosive and simple construction make Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers (CFRP) widely used in strengthening RC one-way slab. So it is necessary to study slab strengthened with CFRP further.Firstly, in this paper, not only the basis theories and analysis modal of finite element method but also the constitutive relations of materials and elements selection of concrete, reinforced steel bar and CFRP are recommended. Secondly, based on related experience data and the current finite element analysis software (ANSYS) we established the finite element model of one-way slab strengthened with CFRP. Then we do nonlinear analysis under different load conditions and compare the calculative result with experiment result. We find that they consist with each other. Based on the research above-mentioned, we can get calculative result of CFRP by changing its thickness and width. We also analyze the result so that we can know the effect which CFRP's thickness and width play on slab strengthened with CFRP. We further give some advices about the thickness and width of CFRP.
