Most of fuel consumed in power station in China, now and in future, is coal. Coal combustion supplies a large amount of thermal energy, and releases a serious program of polluter. However, it's difficult to explain the sulfur separates out rule. At present to burns coal in the process, researchers all only to be able to analyse the combustion products, cannot complete analysis the burning concrete process.My paper analyzed the smoke when the coal burned in the revolving furnace, and analyzed the solid product by ESEM, in order to know the elements both in the smoke and solid product in different status. The revolving furnace could mix coal and air better than static burning, and coal could be burned in a long time, likes burned in CFBC.The research indicated that the sulfur separates out quickly in the revolving furnace. The favorable factors included higher temperature, the thinner powdered coal, enough times and the higher density of sulfur in fuel. Certain temperature was a essential condition for CaO and SO2 start reaction. The appropriate temperature, the seemly Ca/S and exiguous CaCO3 were advantaged factor to eliminating SO2 form smoke and increasing calcium use factor. Enough time were necessary, but if it too long , CaCO3 will became to decompose and released SO2.At last, We gathered the solid product in the CFBC and analyzed it by ESEM when the boiler used low-sulfur soft coal without CaCO3. We found that the concentration of SO2 is 50.8mg/m3 and concentration of ash's C is 0.7-1.8%, d50=25.8μm.
