Reinforcement on structures and members applied in actual project is getting more and more widespread. Researchers and engineers usually pay more attention to the bearing capacity of structures or members than the deformation performance of structures or members especially deformation performance of Seismic structures. Currently, researches about this aspect, especially deformation performance of those members having little ductility such as axial compression members and little eccentric compression members after being reinforced.In the paper, the method of determining the ductility coefficient of those structures and members having less ductility is discussed. Structures and members having little ductility have no apparent yield point, so it is quite difficult to determine the ductility coefficient of them. The ideal elastic-plastic modal is used to simulate the yield process of the member, and then the ductility coefficient of the member can be obtained.Through the experiment of 20 specimen, a simple curve equation is used to simulate the load- deformation curve without apparent yield point got from the experiment. Then the deformation performance of axial compression members and little eccentric compression members after being reinforced is researched. The influence of reinforced by angle steel, by CFRP, by the combination of angle steel and CFRP on the ductility of RC columns after being reinforced is discussed, as well as the influence of pre-load on RC columns after being reinforced.The result of the experiment indicate that the deformation of the members reinforced without pre-load does accord with plane-section assumption, and the deformation of the members reinforced with pre-load does too; the ductility of axial compression RC columns and little eccentric compression RC columns is getting less after being reinforced by angle steel, the ductility of axial compression RC columns and little eccentric compression RC columns is getting much better after being reinforced by CFRP or the combination of angle steel and CFRP, the larger the magnitude of the pre-load is, the lower the ductility of RC columns is after being reinforced.
