The our country region is broad, the resources and requiment of the energy present the contrary to distribute, and HVDC systems have evidence advantage in long distance bulk power transmission, so it inevitably come to the requiment of nationwide optimized use of energy resources. At the same time, the economy of Zhejiang keeps on developing quickly, the requiment of electricity still increasing. To ensure the future consumption of electricity, the site to build power plant in our province should be taken full advantage of, and labour for electricity energy import with the nationwide optimized use of energy resources. This thesis focuses on the analysis of Zhejiang Power Grid's Receiving HVDC power, by using the power system simulation software BPA, including:1. The distribution of energy resources in our contury and the meaning of nationwide optimized use of it are discussed.And according to the insufficiency of self supply of electricity and the future requimnet, it is necessary to enhance power import.2. The short circuit level of Zhejiang Power Grid and its development are discussed, and the effect of receiving HVDC power to control short circuit level of Zhejiang Power Grid are analyzed.3. AC/DC power import schemes are compared by using software BPA, to analyze the effect in transient stability.4. The effect of receiving HVDC power to network's stability under little disturbance are analyzed by comparing AC/DC power import schemes, with the new software PSD-SSAP.
