The idea of decoupling control, which is used in the field oriented control, is not used in the direct torque control of induction machine system any more. So some technical problems, such as the complicated calculation, the characteristic easily effected by the parameter of induction motor, are solved. The DTC system had good dynamic and static performance , which make DTC one of the research focus.The dSPACE real time simulation system is developed by the dSPACE company. This system is used for developing and testing the control system . This system is seamless connected to the MALTAB/Simulink, so through this system the programme can be compiled, downloaded and debugged conveniently. The dSPACE real time simulation system just likes a real time bridge connect the maths model to the controlled object which makes the study and implementation of control algorithm conveniently and easily.This paper presents a DTC system of induction motor based on the dSPACE. The experimental platform is established ,including the design of the main loop , the control loop and the source of low voltage. The programme is complied and downloaded based on RTI after the I/O interface is setup.At last ,some experiments about the direct torque control of induction motor and the induction motor under faulted condition are executed on the platform which is based on dSPACE DS1103 and the peripheral circuit. The result of the induction motor under faulted condition is analysised.
