| With constant increase of tunnel's length and quantity in national construction of railway, highway and irrigation works, construction ventilation in long tunnel is becoming especially important. Many nations are paying attention to supplying safe, credible and comfortable circumstances and reducing engineering cost as soon as possible. In the selection of different machines, ventilation is needed not only keeping workers in good health and safety by providing fresh air in the constructing sites, eliminating dusts and various kinds of poisonous and harmful gases to create good construction environment but also maintaining the normal operation of construction equipment. And to the long tunnels of single line railways, the construction organization and scheme of the whole project do not neglect how to solve the ventilation in the construction.Firstly, present situation of the development of construction ventilation, pollutant emissions and tunnel environment hygienic standard are reviewed, consequently, the calculation results of the pressure-resistance force of different ventilation styles are analyzed separately according to the general theory of fluid mechanics. The character of different type of duct and the combined usage of vans are also discussed it presents several measure of deducing the pressure loss of air-circuit and improving the air volume. Finally, an analysis and comparison of ventilation of different construction stages are presented combining with a practicing project—Baziling Tunnel(5867m).The achievements of this paper enrich the analysis of the tunnel longitudinal ventilation which has preferable feasibility and practical value. It is of guidance for the current tunnel construction ventilation.
