The insulating cavity brick, which has advantages such as soil saving, energy conservation, environmental protection, and light sole weight, has already become the first-selected wall material for Chalmotte. As new products, it is different from common chalmotte, so mechanical property would exist differences. To popularize the cavity insulating brick, basic mechanical property tests and the seismic behavior of non-bearing cavity insulating brick masonry are quite necessary.The seismic security of the nonstructural component is closely linked with the safety of the people's lives and properties. A lot of earthquake damage indicates that the economic loss caused by the nonstructural component damage is far more than the one caused by the structural component damage in the middling earthquake. So the people more and more regard the seismic security of the nonstructural component. Through the low cyclic reverse load test on the masonry walls and analysis, this paper mainly studies the anti-seismic behavior of the masonry wall.The main aspects of the research work in the paper are as follows:(1)According to basic mechanical property tests of non-bearing cavity insulating brick masonry walls, compression strength and shear strength of non-bearing cavity insulating brick masonry walls was studied ,and the average of compression strength and shear strength were detecting.(2)Based on the low cyclic reversed lateral loading tests of non-bearing cavity insulating brick masonry walls, the seismic behavior of non-bearing cavity insulating brick masonry walls was studied ,and the effects of different masonry styles and installed horizontal reinforcement were analyzed.(3)Based on the test results of typical seismic bearing capacity of non-bearing masonry walls, the applicability of ANSYS is studied. On this foundation, calculate and make comparisons about seismic bearing capacity and deformability by changing the parameter of material and structural measures.
