The scattering problems and the dynamic stress concentration problems of transient SH-wave by circle lining under overlay are investigated in this paper by FEM. There are two problems in simulating SH-wave issue by FEM. The first is establishing artificial boundary problem, because simulating the infinite field from the finite field in which intercept from the infinite field, so we introduce artificial boundary. The second is solving all kinds of disadvantageous influence in space-time dispersing and the wave disseminates in different medium to reduce error. In additional, the problems of load's infliction and model's size should be considered. In this paper, the finite element model was established to solution the problem above, analysis was carried by software ANSYS, some node's displacements and stress solution vs. time and the dynamic stress concentration at the edge of cavity was present, and the result was discussed. Concrete works in the paper are mainly as follows:Through wave finite element theoretical analysis , the main error which in the wave finite element computational process was discussed , and the influence on displacement of different finite element model's lateral boundary and the cavities' radius was discussed too. At last the solution method was proposed.Scattering of dynamic SH-wave and dynamic stress concentration problem are investigated by single circle and double circle lining cavities under overburden layer, which is calculated by the general finite element analysis software ANSYS, the displacement of the surface and the edge of cavity vs. time and the dynamic stress concentration factor of it are given.
