With the development of the aeronautical technology, higher requests are brought forward to deployable antenna on satellites from every relative field, most of which are about large caliber and large contraction ratio, etc. Therefore, a lot of structural concepts for deployable antenna are given out by aeronautic scholars. Because of the existence of these problems, this dissertation made some research on the Rotary deployable antenna. The rotary deployable antenna is one of the newly designed antennas, which has great advantages of light mass and large contraction ratio and so on. It is very essential to do some study on it.This dissertation puts forward and gives the design scheme the Rotary Deployable Antenna. Trough studying the structure of the reflecting surface of the net, the spatial net and the planar net are designed. Quality designs are made on the base of the force analysis to the net. To promise the stability of the rev, some researches are made to the transmission system of the motor of the Rotary Deployable Antenna. The dual closed-loop control system of the direct current motor is adopted in the system. In the last part of this paper, simulation and analysis is made to the designed net and the transmission system. Optimization method is use in the simulation of the net system and SIMULINK toolbox of MATLAB is used in the simulation of motor transmission system.The results of the final simulations show the feasibility and efficiency of the Research ideas of the Rotary Deployable Antenna.
