In this paper, the fuzzy reliability analysis of the deployment system of a large satellite antenna is mainly discussed. The corresponding application software is designed. First of all, the fuzzy fault tree analysis (FFTA) is applied for the reliability analysis of the deployment system based on the general reliability data of a satellite antenna. The failure probability interval numbers of the whole system are given by means of quantitative calculation. Secondly, the possibilistic reliability analysis is applied for the reliability analysis of some key parts of the deployment mechanism. The fuzzy reliability index and possibility of failure of the key parts are given. Finally, according to the fuzzy reliability analysis of the satellite antenna, the corresponding application software is designed, using C++ Builder 6.0 development platform. There are two parts: one is the reliability analysis of the deployment system of a large satellite antenna based on the FFTA. And the other is the fuzzy reliability method for structure reliability of the antenna.
