Multi-ribbed Composite Wall Structure(MRCWS) is a new kind of structures system which has a good anti-seismic capacity and prospects. Many important substantive results on theory and applied research have been gained. However, as a new structural and for its complex load-bearing performance, study on earthquake damage model is restricted on Park's model, which is relatively simple. The paper is devoted to studying on the multi-ribbed composite wall, which is the main bearing member in multi-ribbed slab structure. This paper proposes a new type of damage model on the basis of analyzing the existing damage parameters and damage models. On the basis of the previous researches, and through experiments and numerical analysis in detail, the paper focuses on the earthquake damage model of Multi-ribbed Slab Structure. The main content is described as follows:1. With the point of damage, failure proceeding of multi-ribbed composite wall is studied. The current seismic damage theory and research status are presented, discussing systematically accomplishments of seismic damage assessment of building structures in three levels of material, element and structure.2. Based on the damage mechanics and the characteristics of Multi-ribbed Slab Structure, presenting a method of the model which is expressed in form of combination of degrading stiffness corresponding to maximum displacement and accumulated energy dissipation. presenting a two-parameter earthquake damage model of Multi-ribbed composite wall. The indices of the parameter in the model is given based on the slow cyclic horizontal loading tests. Then, a two-parameter earthquake damage model of Multi-ribbed composite wall is be established.3. Results of quasi-static analysis on some of the the specimen in test one and test two is based on IDARC6.1.To find the impact on damage indices by anyalsing axial-load ratio, quantity of frame pillar , frame pillar reinforce ratio, and shear-span ratio.4. This paper caculate the Multi-ribbed Composite Wall's damage indices under different displacement respectively by the model proposed in this paper and Park's model. The contribution of dissipated energy to cumulative darllage and the relationship between the dissipated energy and the loading path are discussed. Combining failure phenomenon in experiment and reality, failure parameters matching to different damage grades are given.
