The Calculation And Analysis Of Grid Structure Based On Damage Constitution

Structural failure is usually the result of damage accumulation to a certain extent. Damage should be considered in structure designing, evaluating its remain life and monitoring its health. But damage is not considered in common structure design. Grid structure, a form of Large-span roof, is analyzed according to constitutive relation considered damage.The present status and the development of the damage theory, damage variables and damage constitutive theory in common use and their merits and drawbacks are introduced; according to conception of equivalent stress, two kinds of damage variable defined by the hypothesis of strain equivalence and proof resilience equivalence are used in damage constitutive model; the finite element model of the grid structure is built and analyzed according to undamaged constitutive and two kinds of damage constitutive; the data of the results are compared and analyzed to get the more acceptable constitutive model that considering damage. The form of the constitutive model is simple and easy to be used in practical engineering.
