Although vehicle convenient people's lives, it also brings two major problems which are the energy consumption and the environmental pollution. At present, more than 46% of the world's oil is consumped by motor vehicles.It has been proved that oil resources is only enough for people to make full use of the 2040 to 2050.And more than 50% of urban environmental pollution is from motor vehicles. As air quality are deteriorating and oil resources are becoming scarce and so on, the question of the future driving force of motor vehicles have to be actively considered.In this case, the future of the automobile should be energy saving, environmentally-friendly . A result of a variety of new fuels, new energy and new impetus to the exploration, the electric vehicles has become one of the most important choice. However, In the next period of time,because of the current level of existing technology and the pace of development, the pure electric vehicles and fuel cell electric vehicles will mainly stay in the theoretical study,A prototype vehicle test trial and the small area during the operational phase. It is difulcult for the realization of large-scale industrialization and commercialization. Therefore, a lot of the world renowned automotive manufacturers have shifted the focus of the study to the hybrid electric vehicle which is easy to implement.While the hybrid electric vehicle is difficult to achieve the goal of zero emissions, but it can achieved high efficiency and low emissions which pure electric vehicles can maintain by the rational and effective management of energy flowing. And it also have advantages of long mileage and fast to add the strengths of the fuel which a traditional internal combustion engine vehicles have. It can also make full use of traditional technology of motor vehicles and industrial base. More importantly, from a technical level and the realization of the way, the hybrid electric vehicle is of great prospects for the industrialization of traditional motor vehicle zero-emission electric vehicles to the transitional period. Which is the best choice for the governments and vehicle manufacturers. As the beginning of the twenty first century, It has become one of the most important research topics for automobile industry.In this paper, combined with the national 863 Project, by analyzing the typical structure of the hybrid powertrain, the simulation model is seted up which is about the hybrid electric vehicle powertrain with the two clutches.The control strategy of parallel hybrid electric vehicle powertrain with two clutch is studied. The work done and conclusions are as follows:(1) Access to a large number of references which is about hybrid electric vehicle. The current domestic and international research situation abot the hybrid electric vehicleis summed up. The analysis about the key technology in areas of the hybrid electric vehicleis research is provided.(2) The current typical structural form of the uniaxial parallel hybrid electric vehicle is analyzed. The structural characteristics,of uniaxial parallel hybrid electric vehicle powertrain with two clutch is provided. Combined with analysis of the characteristics of vehicle, the control strategies are provided and their possible modes of operation are introduced. On this basis the vehicle's torque management strategy is developed. And the dynamics control method of the process of mode switching is focused on.(3) Based on the actual components of selection in the hybrid electric vehicle projects, with analysis of the dynamics of the engine and electrical properties, the dynamic model is seted up to analyze the dynamic process of clutch engagement and the establishment of the clutch model. Based on the relationship between hybrid powertrain, the dual-clutch Hybrid Electric Vehicle powertrain simulation model is established.(4) According to the structural characteristics of the hybrid powertrain with two clutch. With the analysis of the evaluation of hybrid mode switch quality, , combined with the structure of the typical features of energy-saving clutch, the control methods and rules of engagement is studied by the use of simulation models. The selected typical hybrid electric vehicle mode switching quality is studied through simulation studies and comparative analysis. It shows that the torque mode fluctuations can be reduced and the quality of mode switching can be improved by the reasonable effective control means.The simulation study and research methods on the mode switching quality of hybrid powertrain with two clutch in this paper,is helpful for the development of hybrid vehicles and development of hybrid vehicles to meet the powertrain performance. It have practical significance to provide a theoretical basis and technical reference.
